Need we say more!

If only the rest of the season could be as sweet as the last 5 days.

Here's us having a bit of fun with a Ben Sheet's bobble head we got during All Star week at Miller Park a few years back. (please don't take offense to it, the Brewers truthfully are our second favorite team!)



This picture is a quick shot Derrick was able to capture on a trip we took to Chicago last week for the "I Shoot People" seminar. (which was a great seminar) Of course we couldn't leave Chicago without swinging by Wrigleyville, even if the Cubs weren't in town!

7.12.08 Paige & Andrew are Married!

To say that I enjoyed shooting Paige & Andrew's wedding would really be an understatement. I LOVED it! Their friends & family were nothing but kind, and Paige & Andrew 100% trusted our expertise. A good chemistry with a couple and their guests goes a LONG way on the wedding day. Because of the great chemistry we were allowed to be creative and document their day while having a TON of fun.

Paige & Andrew were married at Olin Park, which made for a beautiful location for their friends and family who mostly travelled from out of town. They followed up their ceremony with a great celebration at The Concourse.

Congrats Paige & Andrew! We wish you lots of happiness!

7.12.08 Alison & Chris are Married!

Alison & Chris are definitely the most musically inclined couple we have ever photographed, as they are both frequent performers in the Madison music scene. Their wedding came to us as a referral from one of our previous wedding couples, Tim & Deanna. I was informed at the wedding that Tim & Deanna just had their first baby. (Congrats guys on the addition of your brand new baby girl!) Chris's father performed a moving ceremony for the couple at his church. (Trinity Lutheran) We then waded our way through Art Fair on the Square on our way to the capital to shoot some fun shots prior to heading to the Brink Lounge for their dinner and reception. The Brink Lounge made for a perfect location as Alison & Chris both gig their often. The intimate crowd of family & friends & of course great music made for an awesome evening. -Derrick

7.5.08 Matt & Gina are Married!

Matt is my 'big bro' from my fraternity days in college, so needless to say the wedding party and guests were a lot of familiar faces for both April & I.
I was not only honored to be asked to document Matt & Gina's day but honestly had a lot of fun doing so. It is the first wedding we've shot where a police escort was provided between photo locations (Matt is a police officer in Pewaukee and not a foreign dignitary). We got some great shots of Matt & Gina in downtown Pewaukee and out on the beach. Their reception was well attended, to say the least, and was at the Country Springs. We wish Matt & Gina many happy years, even if they are Brewers fans. -Derrick
