Nathan + Brianne + baby Sawyer...

Last Wednesday Derrick, Koeplin & I visited our friends Nathan & Brianne.
Derrick has known Nathan since his days in the dorms when he lived next to Nathan and his identical twin brother, Brandon. (who's wedding we get to cover this coming May) Derrick also met Brianne around that same time, as she was Nathan's high school sweetheart. When I started dating Derrick a few years later I was lucky enough to gain these two as my friends as well. Nathan also happens to be our very talented web designer. (watch in the months to come as he comes up with our new design...no pressure Nathan!)

Wednesday provided a much needed day of relaxation at Nathan's parents lake house. It was refreshing to spend the day with our friends, and escape from email and all the technologies that can interfere with life, even if only for an afternoon. Koeplin also had a great time playing in the lake, and on the pontoon. While we were there we also decided to get some maternity shots of Nathan and Brianne, who were due in about a month. Derrick & I stressed to Nathan & Brianne that their lives would soon be drastically changing. (though of course for the good) we explained to them that they should spend the next month prior to the baby coming as a couple going to the movies and out to dinner.
Little did we know on Wednesday that their lives would drastically change only 4 days later.
Luckily, we didn't put off doing these pictures any later. Nathan & Brianne chose to be surprised with the sex of their baby, so we couldn't wait to hear what they were having.

We were both so happy to hear that Nathan & Brianne had a baby boy, Sawyer. We wish the three nothing but the best, and can't wait to see & of course take some pictures of their new little guy! We hope you guys are able to get some sleep in the months to come.
