Rain, rain, go away, come again, but not on a wedding day... It continues to be a very 'wet' spring as our shooting season gets into full swing, Emily & Jameson's day was no exception.
As long as our couples our fine with getting a little bit wet, rainy days can still make for great photos! Not that blue skies aren't pretty, but stormy skies can add an extra element of drama and character to photos that isn't present on a clear day.
After taking photos (in-between raindrops) at the church, the Capital, and Allen Centennial, we made it to their reception site at the Monona Terrace just beating a major hail and rain storm. With the storm passed, Emily & Jameson, along with all of their guests were treated to an amazing rainbow arching over Lake Monona and fully visable from the hall windows.
Before our day was finished, we went outside to take some 'night' portraits of the two of them. Though this can be tricky at times, shooting at night can make for some amazing photos.
Emily & Jameson were fantastic to work with. Their night was full of beautiful decor, great music and fun loving guests who helped them celebrate and cap off a wonderfully 'wet,' wedding day.
