Katie & Cody's wedding in South West Wisconsin provided Derrick & myself with a great start
to the 2008 season! After having the last month off from shooting we were refreshed and excited to tell the story of Katie & Cody's day.
We were greeted by Katie almost immediately when we arrived at the church to set up. Katie's genuinely sweet disposition was apparent as she greeted us both with a big hug.
It is always refreshing when we work with couples who are as excited about their pictures as we are. The couple made sure to allot some time for some alone pictures of the two of them on location, Katie was even a trooper and bared with the brisk, cold 30 degree day. Derrick & I made sure to make the most out of our time in the cold and be as efficient as possible, so that poor Katie wouldn't have to be cold for too long.
Katie & Cody's love for one another was very apparent in their smiles at one another. Katie was one of those brides that couldn't wipe the smile off of her face no matter how hard she tried, needless to say we weren't able to capture many serious faces.
